Shell
Shell
M1C US WW2 paratrooper helmet shell reproduction based on an original Austrian steel helmet shell and produced between 1975 and 1990. It features a rear rim seam and swivel loops. The helmet is equipped with reproduction chinstraps. It has been sanded and repainted in Olive Drab 7, a color used by the American army between 1936 and 1944. The shell has a granular coating thanks to the addition of cork during the painting process.

Keep in mind
All of our helmet shells are made of steel and are surplus military equipment. Some are over 50 years old. They may show signs of use and aging due to storage. Although they are repainted and refurbished, some evidence of their past use remains visible.

M1C Paratrooper Helmet paint
This paratrooper helmet is painted using a paint based on the shade used by the American army between 1936 and 1944. It has a matte finish that will tend to become satin with time and wear, just like the original helmets.

M1C Paratrooper Helmet texture
The M1C paratrooper helmet is coated with a "cork" texture to closely match the original models. This coating was used to break up the soldier's silhouette and reduce sun glare.

M1C Paratrooper Helmet chin strap
The helmet chin strap is a paratrooper reproduction made by Mon Casque M1 with woven strap copied from the original model. It also has snap buttons at the ends for attachment to the liner. The metal hardware is post-war military issue.
Travaille très soigné, belle coque , beau rendu de la peinture d origine avec inclusion de liège.
Mon seul regret le liner aurait pu avoir un effet résine
je suis très satisfait tout de même
