The US Vietnam helmet used by American troops during the Vietnam War. Recognizable thanks to its reversible Mitchell helmet cover typical of the conflict, the US Vietnam helmet was an essential part of the US army uniform between 1959 and 1975.

All our helmet shells are made of steel and come from military surplus. Some of them are over 50 years old. They may show traces of use and age due to storage. Although they are repainted and refurbished, some evidence of their past use remains visible.

The basic pack includes the complete helmet as well as a reproduction Mitchell type helmet cover, typical of the helmets worn by American soldiers during the Vietnam War. An elastic is also provided in the basic pack.

In addition to the "Basic Pack", the following accessories are added:
Elastic
The basic elastic is replaced by a "Cat Eye" elastic to fix different elements on the perimeter of the helmet. A method often used by soldiers to have quick access to various accessories and to prevent them from getting wet in flooded areas.
cleaning solvent
Original empty "CLEANING COMPOUND SOLVENT" bottle of solvent dated March 1967 intended for cleaning small arms. Manufactured by “OCTOGON PROCESS INC”. Can be worn on the elastic of the helmet.
Heating ration
Used to heat combat rations in the field. Original model dated 1970, still sealed and manufactured by the firm "CAN-TITE RUBBER CORPORATION. Can be worn on the elastic of the helmet.
cleaning brush
US-made brush for cleaning small arms, including the US Army's regulation M-16 assault rifle during the Vietnam War. Can be worn in the openings of the helmet cover.
Can opener
Original P-38 model can opener, used to open cans in the field. Often seen worn over the helmet for quick access in the field. Can be placed on the elastic of the helmet.
death card
Reproduction of the "Death Card" in flexible cardboard, often seen worn on the helmets of American troops during the Vietnam War.
