The US M1C WW2 legendary helmet shell of the American airborne troops. With its legendary silhouette, it is the image of the US paratrooper during World War II and until 1985. This model is the M1C version with its swivel loops.

Shell

M1C Paratrooper US WW2 helmet shell made of a postwar original Austrian steel helmet produced between 1975 and 1990. Rear seam and swivel loops. Reproduction of OD#3 heavy helmet chinstraps. Repainted in Olive Drab 7, the shade used by the US army between 1936 and 1944. The shell has a granular coating thanks to the addition of cork during the painting process.

    This paratrooper version is painted with a paint based on the shade used by the US army between 1936 and 1944. Being of a matte nature, it will tend to become satin over time and wear, just like original US M1 helmets.
