The M1 helmets of the American airborne troops during the Vietnam War. Mythical helmet with its typical accessories from the conflict as well as its original Mitchell helmet cover dated 1974.
Hull & Liner
Steel helmet shell of Austrian origin, with a joint of the rear strapping as well as movable chinstrap attachment points repainted in matt OD (Olive Drap). A pair of original Vietnam OD#7 paratrooper type chinstraps equip the heavy helmet. All metal parts are marked with the "P" for "PARISH DIVISION OF THE DANA CORPORATION".
The original US liner "LINER, SOLDIERS STEEL HELMET, "COMBAT" TYPE 1" dated October 24, 1972 reassembled in paratrooper version is in fiber with its original elements ("internal suspension, "sweat band"). has been replaced with a new post Vietnam model of US origin dated 1985. It has its original fabric chin strap marked "US.

Note
All our helmet shells are made of steel and come from military surplus. Some of them are over 50 years old. They may show traces of use and age due to storage. Although they are repainted and refurbished, some evidence of their past use remains visible.

The under helmet is one size, it is nevertheless adjustable in depth as well as in any head.
