Painting M1 Helmet Shell

This infantry version shell is painted with a paint based on the shade used by the US army between 1936 and 1944. With a matte finish, it will tend to become dull over time and wear, just like the original US M1 helmets.

Texture M1 Helmet Shell

The infantry M1 helmet shell is coated with a "cork" texture to closely resemble the original models. This coating was designed to break up the soldier's silhouette and reduce sun glare.

M1 Helmet Shell

The M1 helmet shell was an essential component for American soldiers during World War II. It fits over the M1 liner and protects the soldier from debris, sun, and rain. It also served as a basin for shaving and a cooking pot in difficult times in everyday life.

A bit of history

In this American factory, thousands of M1 helmets were pressed, inspected, and painted to equip the Allied forces. A symbol of American industrial ingenuity, the M1 helmet was mass-produced starting in 1941, combining manganese steel and technical innovation. This video demonstrates the intensity of the war effort mobilized on American soil.

Coque infanterie pattes fixes

La coque est, comme d’habitude, très bien réalisée et peinte.
Le sous casque en fibre, que je possède déjà suite a l’achat d’un premier casque à pattes mobiles, s’y intègre parfaitement
