Parachutist Chinstrap - Early War
Parachutist Chinstrap - Early War
Reproduction of the early war US M1 paratrooper type chinstrap (1941-1943) with its raised bar buckle. It is longer than the infantry version in order to be able to fix the press studs which are at the ends in the paratrooper version under helmet . Ready to be sewn on your helmet with fixed or mobile saddles. This chinstrap for the US M1 helmet will make a nice effect for an M1 helmet representative of the beginning of the war. The chinstrap strap is made of thick cotton in the color OD N°3 (sand) and the fittings are made of metal. Indispensable element of the heavy US M1 paratrooper helmet, often worn attached to the back of the helmet or in the camouflage net.
