Faithful reproduction of the M1 Garand bayonet in short version. It replaces the long version M-1905 deemed too cumbersome. This bayonet is fixed on the belt or on the side of the Haversack M-1928.
The scabbard bears the US marking with "Flaming Bomb" as well as VP 29.
The blade itself is marked OL. from the manufacturer Oneida Limited, with the US "Flaming Bomb" and the date 1943.
