The iconic US M1C WW2 helmet is synonymous with American paratroopers. With its legendary silhouette, it represents the image of the US airborne forces throughout World War II and until 1985. This particular model is the M1C version with swivel loops.

About

Austrian-made M1 infantry steel helmet shell, originally produced between 1975 and 1990 in the style of the US WWII M1C paratrooper helmet. Features a rear-seam and swivel loops. Fitted with paratrooper reproduction OD#3 chinstraps. Repainted in Olive Drab 7, the shade used by the U.S. Army from 1936 to 1944. The shell has a textured finish, achieved by adding cork to the paint

Recent plastic reproduction of the M1-style liner. Similar to the US M1 model with a headband, front eyelet, and brown faux leather chinstrap. Modified with added A Yokes to secure the leather chin cup.

Compressed fiber M1-style surplus liner from Belgian origin (ABL). With headband, brown leather chinstrap, and neck band. Also features the typical front eyelet of American liners. Modified with added A Yokes to hold the leather chin cup

Painting M1C Paratrooper Helmet

This paratrooper helmet is painted using a paint based on the shade used by the American army between 1936 and 1944. It has a matte finish that will tend to become satin with time and wear, just like the original helmets.
