FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Your questions, our answers

What's the difference between a fiber liner and a reproduction liner?

The fiber liner is military surplus: made in the 1950s for the Belgian army, it reproduces the shape, thickness, suspension and materials of original American liners. The reproduction liner is a modern plastic version, less faithful to the original but more affordable.

Are the liners compatible with my shells?

Our liners are compatible with our US M1 steel helmet shells and let you put together a complete helmet.

How do I adjust the size?

All our liners are adjustable for head size and depth.

What is an airborne liner?

It is fitted with two “A-yokes” to attach a dedicated chin cup, as on World War II paratrooper models, and with side snaps to fasten the steel helmet's chinstrap. Available in plastic or fiber (ABL type).
