Faithful reproduction of the M1 Garand bayonet in short version. It replaces the long version M-1905 deemed too cumbersome. This bayonet is fixed on the belt or on the side of the Haversack M-1928.
The scabbard bears the US marking with "Flaming Bomb" as well as VP 29.
The blade itself is marked OL. from the manufacturer Oneida Limited, with the US "Flaming Bomb" and the date 1943.

Excellent rapport qualité-prix, la lame est bien affûtée et je n’observe pas de jeu entre les différentes pièces de mon exemplaire. Attention cependant, après un examen plus en détail j’ai trouvé quelques points de rouilles sur la pieces situé sur la face supérieur du manche permettant dans la réalité de verrouiller la baïonnette sur le fusil, mais quelques coup de papier à poncer et la rouille a disparu. Je met tout de même 5 étoiles car malgré ce désagrément, cela reste une très belle pièce.
