Painting M1 Helmet Shell

This infantry shell is painted with a paint based on the shade used by the US Army between 1936 and 1944. Matt by nature, it will tend to take on a satin sheen with time and wear, just like original US M1 helmets.

Texture M1 Helmet Shell

The shell of the M1 infantry steel helmet has a so-called "cork" texture to be as close as possible to period models. This coating helped break up the soldier's silhouette and reduce sun glare.

Chinstrap M1 Helmet Shell

The infantry chinstrap of the M1 steel helmet is a reproduction made by Mon Casque M1 with woven webbing copied from the period model. The metal hardware is original post-war military issue.

M1 Helmet Shell

The M1 helmet shell is the American soldier's essential piece of kit during the Second World War. It fits over the M1 liner and protects the soldier from debris, sun and rain. But it also serves him in everyday life, as a basin for shaving or as a cooking pot when times are hard.

Super casque mais long

Coque infanterie pattes fixes
