Chinstrap for the US M1 infantry steel helmet, reproduction made by Mon Casque M1, mid-war type: OD#3 olive drab cotton webbing with brass hardware, matching the pattern in service from 1942 onwards.
Seconds — sold as clearance stock. The flat buckle has a small nick on one side, shown in the photographs. The flaw is cosmetic only: it does not affect adjustment, retention or strength, and the strap remains fully usable for reenactment or for fitting a collection helmet.
