Note

All our helmet shells are made of steel and come from military surplus. Some of them are over 50 years old. They may show traces of use and age due to storage. Although they are repainted and refurbished, some evidence of their past use remains visible.

The under helmet is one size, it is nevertheless adjustable in depth as well as in any head.

About

Steel helmet shell of Belgian origin, with a rear rim seam and swivel chinstrap loops, repainted in matt OD (Olive Drab). The helmet is fitted with a pair of original Vietnam-type paratrooper OD#7 chinstraps. All metal parts are marked with the "P" of the "PARISH DIVISION OF THE DANA CORPORATION".

Original US "LINER, SOLDIERS STEEL HELMET, "COMBAT" TYPE 1" fibre liner, reassembled as a paratrooper version with its original components (suspension, headband). The neckband has been replaced with a new original post-Vietnam US model dated 1985. It has its original fabric chin cup marked "US".

This Vietnam-type complete helmet is painted with a paint based on the shade used by the US Army between 1936 and 1944. Matt by nature, it will tend to take on a satin sheen with time and wear, just like original helmets.
