About

Steel helmet shell of Austrian origin, with a rear rim seam and swivel chinstrap loops, repainted in matt OD (Olive Drab). The helmet is fitted with a pair of reproduction Vietnam-type OD#7 chinstraps.

Original US P55-type liner, early version made by Firestone with A-washer rivets, dated 1975, with its original components (suspension, headband and neckband).

All our helmet shells are made of steel and come from military surplus stock. Some of them are more than 50 years old. They may show signs of use and ageing due to storage. Although they have been repainted and refurbished, some evidence of their past use remains visible.

The liner is one size, but is adjustable in depth and head circumference.
