About

US WW2 infantry M1 steel helmet shell of Austrian origin, produced between 1950 and 1990. Rear rim seam and swivel loops. Reproduction OD#3 steel helmet chinstraps. Repainted in Olive Drab 7, the shade used by the US Army between 1936 and 1944. The shell has a textured finish thanks to cork added during the painting process.

Recent plastic reproduction of the M1-type liner. Similar to the US M1 model, with sweatband, front eyelet and brown faux-leather chinstrap.

Surplus compressed-fibre M1-type liner of Belgian origin (ABL). With sweatband, brown leather chinstrap and neckband. Also has the front eyelet typical of American liners.

USMC helmet cover

100% cotton reproduction worn by Marines on the Pacific front during World War II. Reversible, made of strong canvas without the slits (version manufactured from 1942)

This complete infantry helmet is painted with a paint based on the shade used by the US Army between 1936 and 1944. Matt by nature, it will tend to take on a satin sheen with time and wear, just like original helmets.
